If your driveway or parking lot is in good shape (no cracks or low areas) and just looks a little "worn down" then sealcoating may be the answer. It's super affordable and often can make your parking lot or driveway look brand new again!
Resealing is basically applying a tar-emulsion sealer that will help fill in small cracks and provide a water resistant surface. This will increase the life of your driveway. Before applying sealer you will want to make sure that you clean your driveway or parking lot very well, fill any large cracks with crack sealer, clean/scrub any stains as best as possible (such as grease), and you patch any potholes. A lot of companies will just "throw down" sealer without doing the proper prep work which can be a complete waste of time and money. Don't waste your time and/or money and get the job done right the first time. Click here if you would like to learn more about tar and chip driveways! |
